Background: Carter was your typical insecure teenage girl. All her life she’d been bullied because she was slightly overweight, had a gap, and what most people would call a “butt-chin.” This started when she was just a young girl in second grade, and it still goes on to this day. When she was four, she started looking in the mirror, and she saw what everyone else saw. She saw a fat little girl, with an ugly gap and chin, she hated herself. She started starving herself, or she’d eat and hold it down long enough to make it to a bathroom and throw it up. She started cutting herself, but she made sure she did it places where no one could see, she was only four. All her life, she’d gone everyday doing these things. She’d even tried drinking, and doing drugs at an older age. She did this up until she was 18, when she finally decided that maybe it was time to get help. She opened up to her parents about it, and they understood but they were very worried about her. Carter also opened up about her problems to her childhood best friend, Savy Gonzalez, who was also worried about her. They’d taken her to a treatment center, where she spent a few months in recovery. When she came out, she was more beautiful and healthy then ever. She went in as a bulimic border-line anorexic girl who cut herself, couldn’t hold any food down, suffered from depression and bi-polar disorder, and now she is more healthy then she’d ever been in 18 years. She still struggles sometimes, but she’s making it through everyday, taking it one step at a time.
Personality: Carter is the biggest sweetheart in all the Netherlands. Everyone loves her. Of course, there’s still the people who bullied her for years, but now that they know her, and see what she struggled with, they support her and love her. There isn’t a single bad bone in Carter’s body. The only time she’s ever really rude is when she is having one of her off days, when you bring up her past, or when you disrespect someone she loves dearly. Other than that, she’s a sweetheart. There is one thing about her that people dislike though, she’s not much of a party girl, and she certainly doesn’t want to be one of them and end up like all the other girls in town. She wants to settle down soon, and just find love.
Relationships: When Carter came out of treatment, she met a boy named Mason. She was so stunned by his beauty, and his adorable Irish accent, she fell instantly, but she hasn’t told him yet. She is super close with both of her parents, Chris & Dianna, and wouldn’t trade them for the world. Her best friend,Savy, who has been there since they were 8 years old, is probably the most important person in her life aside from her family. Lucky for her, she doesn’t have any enemies, but who knows if she’ll make some in time if her and Mason start dating.
Hobbies: In her free time, Carter loves to sing, and dance. She looks in her mirror and sings into a brush as if she were on stage singing into a microphone for thousands of people. Singing has always been her passion along with dancing. She also likes acting, she’s done a few school productions but she’s always hoped to be something bigger, she just doesn’t know if that can happen and if she can handle it after everything she’s had to deal with and go through. And she also loves to hang out with Savy and Mason when they have the time.
